Smith Rowe likely to miss Brentford game
Emile Smith Rowe could be sidelined for Arsenal's trip to Brentford in the Premier League on Sunday, according to Emirates Stadium reporter Charlie Watts.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been struggling for injuries since the start of the season, spending a total of just 47 minutes on the pitch so far in 2022/23.
Saka aware of Man City interest
As per 90min.com, a tier-three source, Bukayo Saka is aware that Pep Guardiola is interested in bringing the England star to Manchester City in the future.
There is also reported interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid but the 21-year-old forward is unlikely to leave the Emirates for either of those clubs.
Arteta's verdict on Marquinhos
Mikel Arteta believes that Marquinhos, who moved to the Emirates from Sao Paulo last summer, 'has exceeded all expectations', according to Goal Brazil.
The 19-year-old forward, who made his debut in the 2–1 win against Zurich in the Europa League last week, is now regarded 'as a gem' at Arsenal.
Arsenal set to give 3 players contract extensions
Arsenal are looking to lock down some of their key players in the near future, namely Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Wlliam Saliba, as per 90min.com
The Gunners are wary of the fact that all three youngsters have their contracts running out in 2024 and could therefore attract interest from rivals next summer.
