Not Ramsdale: Arsenal's biggest weakness in PSV Eindhoven loss — shown in line-up

Arsenal played a disappointing 2-0 loss to PSV Eindhoven to suffer a defeat in the Europa League.

Aaron Ramsdale, William Saliba and a few others were far from their best but there was one player, who offered nothing on both ends of the pitch.

And that's Albert Sambi Lokonga. The midfielder wasted a rare start handed by Mikel Arteta as he was culpable for most of what went wrong for the Gunners.

To be fair, the 23-year-old maintained possession in the first half and even made some clever fouls to break up play.

However, in the second half, he neither shielded the defence nor did he contribute anything going forward.

Lokonga was missing as PSV found the gaps to score their first goal. He didn't offer enough protection to Granit Xhaka, who was left to defend by himself.

In doing so, the centre-backs were exposed and Saliba clearly struggled to play alongside Rob Holding - another weak link at the back.

Lokonga also didn't recycle the ball quick enough to help our attackers, leading to a disjointed performance on the field.
