Nicolas Pepe back at Arsenal after loan spell, faces uncertain future

Nicolas Pepe will return to Arsenal following the expiration of his one-year loan deal at Ligue 1 side OGC Nice.

Pepe made 28 appearances in total for Nice, who finished ninth in the French top flight last term, finding the back of the net eight times.

The Ivorian has one more year on his Arsenal contract after joining the club for a record £72m from Lille.

However, the winger faces another uncertain year as he is considered not to be part of Mikel Arteta's plans.

The Gunners won't hesitate to sell the player should they receive a reasonable bid.
