Gabriel Magalhaes praised his teamwork with William Saliba but admitted that sometimes during games, Saliba's actions make him shout swear words.
Gabriel told Stadium Astro: "We speak the same language. I am Brazilian but I speak French. On the pitch, the communication is very important. We are good friends and sometimes I need to say, 'Ah Saliba! F*** sake!' – he’ll say it to me as well. It’s good for us. He understands me and I understand him."
Saliba meanwhile was asked about his teamwork with Gabriel. He said: "I love him, he loves me. It’s easy to play with him!"
The two centre-backs are crucial for Arsenal's defence and have been key players under coach Mikel Arteta, helping turn the Gunners into strong contenders for the title.
Last season, they almost led Arsenal to their first Premier League trophy since 2004, but narrowly missed out to Manchester City. This season, Arsenal is once again in the race for the title with the best defence in the league. Gunners are currently leading the table with 10 games left to play in the top-flight.
