Man City could miss 7 players in Arsenal game

Pep Guardiola has had four Manchester City players come back from the international break with possible injuries. This adds to the three players who weren't fit enough to play for their countries.

First, Kyle Walker got injured during England's loss to Brazil. Gareth Southgate expressed concern because Walker doesn't usually get injured. Walker himself hopes it's not too serious.

If Walker can't play, the backup plan involves Manu Akanji or John Stones at right-back, with the other one moving into midfield, probably Stones. But this backup plan got messed up when Akanji missed training for Switzerland and was left out of their match with Ireland.

Then, Stones got injured during England's second friendly. Southgate had to defend his decision to play Stones, and now Man City are worried about his condition before the Arsenal game.

Matheus Nunes got a chance to show his skills in Portugal's second friendly. But he wasn't in the squad for their match against Slovenia due to a reported foot injury. This adds to Guardiola's worries during the international break.

Also, three players - Ederson, Kevin De Bruyne, and Jack Grealish - stayed at City to recover. So, seven players might not be available to play against Arsenal on Sunday, and that's great info for the Gunners.

However, it shouldn't even matter because Arsenal can get a win even against the strongest Man City squad if they show their best.
