After the signing of Kai Havertz, Arsenal fans came up with a brilliant chant for the German. It goes like this: "Tsamina mina, eh, eh, Waka waka, eh, eh, £60 million down the drain, Kai Havertz scores again". It's based on Shakira's song, Waka Waka (This Time For Africa).
The Arsenal forward was asked by Sky Sports if he sings the song to himself. He replied: “To be honest, yeah! Not with my lyrics, just the song from Shakira. But not with my lyrics, that would be a bit too much!”
Havertz was asked if the song gives him confidence. He replied: “Yeah, definitely. When fans sing your name, it's always nice. Especially in that period, it meant a lot to me.”
Havertz has given fans plenty of opportunities to sing that song, having scored 13 times so far this season. The forward joined Arsenal on a £65m deal last summer from Chelsea and the Gunners had initially been criticising for spending too much on him.
