Arsenal tipped to be in 'pole position' for Benjamin Sesko signing, his release clause revealed (reliability: 4 stars)

Arsenal are considering a move to sign RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko, according to The Telegraph.

The Gunners have already shown genuine interest in the 20-year-old. Sesko’s agent was in attendance at Old Trafford on Sunday (May 12) to watch the Gunners defeat Man United.

The Slovenian forward is also attracting interest from other clubs over a possible summer move. But, those rivaling Arsenal in his chase believe that they are in pole position to sign him if they make a bid for him.

Arsenal are currently prioritizing to strengthen their frontline and sign a top forward. Sesko had a £43m release clause inserted to his Leizpig contract initially. But that is now going to increase due to his performances this season.

The new release clause could be as high as £64m, which would make him an expensive target for Mikel Arteta. Sesko has scored 13 goals and provided two assists in 30 appearances for Leipzig so far this season.
