Here is the statement released by Chelsea FC in the aftermath of the incident.
"Chelsea FC is disgusted with posts on social media this evening targeting West Bromwich Albion player Callum Robinson.
"Chelsea FC finds all forms of discriminatory behaviour totally unacceptable.
"Racism has no place at this club and where there is sufficient evidence of a Chelsea season ticket holder or member involved in such behaviour, we will take the strongest possible action against them."
Robinson was targeted after he scored 2 goals against Chelsea, having to deal with racist comments and abuse over social media.
With Reece James and Fikayo Tomori also having complained about the issue earlier in the season, it is good to see the club take a firm stance on this issue that has no place in football.
