WhoScored’s method of rating players is pretty absurd and based on technical stuff like dribbles completed, aerial duels won, and shots per game.
Lionel Messi is rated as the best player in Europe’s top-5 leagues, with Robert Lewandowski and Harry Kane completing the top-3.
Chelsea summer targets Erling Haaland (11th) and Romelu Lukaku (20th) are also ranked among the 20-best players in Europe’s top five leagues.
