'He's got it all': Ex-Blue Ashley Cole reviews Chilwell's debut season for Chelsea

Ashley Cole was full of praise for Ben Chilwell when talking about the impact he has had in his debut season for the Blues.

He said to Chelsea's official website, "From minute one, he was hungry to prove that he was good enough.

"He can handle the ball in every area – defensively, in the middle third, he can deal with it.

"And, of course, attacking-wise, he can cross, he can shoot, he can combine. He’s got it all."

Ben Chilwell made 39 starts in all competitions for the Blues this season with 4 goals and 8 assists to his name in that time.

Chilwell grew into his role brilliantly towards the end of the season despite some competition from Marcos Alonso and has become undoubtedly Chelsea's first-choice defender on the left side.
