Kai Havertz and Timo Werner received votes for the prestigious Footballer of the Year award awarded by the Association of German Sports Journalists and carried out by Kicker.
German players that play outside of Germany are eligible for the award along with all the players playing for Bundesliga clubs.
Havertz finished in 5th place in the rankings, while Timo Werner finished 7th with Atalanta's Robin Gosens splitting the difference between then.
Antonio Rudiger also received one solitary vote, which wasn't enough to crack the top 10 in voting.
Robert Lewandowski took home the trophy after a record-breaking Bundesliga campaign, while Erling Haaland finished in 3rd place.
