Kai Havertz doubtful for Juventus clash & more: Thomas Tuchel provides injury update

Thomas Tuchel has provided a fitness update on his squad ahead of Chelsea's Champions League game against Juventus. As usual, he started with Romelu Lukaku's situation.

"Not sure yet, yesterday he was on team training and seemed okay," Tuchel said about the Belgian.

"Let's see about the reaction. Maybe we have the chance to have in the squad for the last minutes and that's the absolute maximum."

"Jorgy is okay, Kai felt his hamstrings and we have doubts."

Havertz's injury could be very concerning for the Blues, especially if Lukaku is not deemed fit to start.

Fortunately, Timo Werner will be in the squad as he has fully recovered from his injury.

Finally, Mateo Kovacic remains sidelined with a hamstring issue as well.
