Southampton are yet another club that has been linked with Chelsea teenager Levi Colwill.

According to The Athletic, Saints are monitoring his situation as Chelsea are yet to determine the centre-back's future.

The 19-year-old impressed during his loan spell at Huddersfield, making 32 appearances in his first season in professional football. His contract with the Blues will only expire in 2025.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Leicester, Crystal Palace, Brighton and Nottingham Forest are keen on a permanent deal for the player.

It's no surprise that other clubs want to take advantage of the Chelsea academy. Last season, two of its graduates became regular starters elsewhere.

Both Marc Guehi at Palace and Tino Livramento at Southampton were viewed as the revelations of that campaign.
