Addressing the performance of Christian Pulisic after he assisted a goal in USA’s 1-1 draw against Wales, ex-Man United captain Roy Keane said: “He’s obviously got his injury problems.
“He’s obviously a talented player, he’s got a good record at international level. So it will be interesting to see how he does in the tournament because he’s got that potential but we need to see more of it.
“He needs more luck with the injuries but he’s obviously a talented boy.”
Keane does have a point here, as Pulisic needs to be more consistent to help USA make it out of their groups at the World Cup and make himself a regular in the Chelsea side after the tournament is over.
The 24-year-old winger has made 18 appearances for the Blues this season, scoring just one goal and providing 2 assists.
