As Emma Hayes nears the end of her Chelsea manager tenure, she's been nominated for the Barclays WSL Manager of the Season award. Hayes is no stranger to this honour, having won it six times, including in each of the last four years.
In a challenging season filled with the Continental Cup final and domestic and European semi-finals, Hayes has led Chelsea to contend for a fifth consecutive WSL title.
Currently in second place, just three points behind Manchester City with two games left, Chelsea recently secured a resounding 8-0 victory over Bristol City, boosting their goal difference.
Announcing her departure in November, this season marks Hayes' final year as Chelsea's manager after an impressive 12-year tenure. Earlier this week, she was honoured alongside Chelsea legends at Stamford Bridge.
Hayes is competing for the WSL Manager of the Season award against Liverpool's Matt Beard and Manchester City's Gareth Taylor.
