AC Milan have tried to approach Chelsea over a loan deal for Benoit Badiashile with plans to make it a permanent deal in the summer, Tuttomercatoweb reports.
However, Chelsea have rejected the offer for the French centre-back who has just recovered from a serious injury.
The 22-year-old has only made two appearances for the Blues this season, making his first Premier League start in a 4-1 defeat to Newcastle last weekend.
Chelsea are waiting to see how Badiashile returns to form and whether he'll get enough playing time before January, with Levi Colwill, Axel Disasi and Thiago Silva competing for places.
With Wesley Fofana due to recover in a few months, Chelsea will have to make some tough decisions even though they've already decided to offload Trevoh Chalobah.
