Chilwell close to return from hamstring injury, Chelsea given two more positive updates

Chelsea are hit by the Reece James injury news but there are positive updates out there as well.

Football London report that Ben Chilwell is very close to returning to contention. The left-back has been out since September and is expected back in training before the end of the year.

Robert Sanchez will be back in the next two weeks while Noni Madueke is already back in training and will likely make the squad list for the Wolves game on Christmas Eve.

Overall, the Blues' injury list is shrinking, with Christo Nkunku already making his debut for Chelsea and Romeo Lavia on his way back to full fitness as well.
