Is Olivier Giroud going to retire this year? Answered

Olivier Giroud is 37 years old. He will turn 38 in September. Yet the striker continues playing for AC Milan and France.

The forward has no intention of retiring this summer and has been linked with a move to MLS this summer as his AC Milan contract expires.

As per L'Equipe, Giroud is expected to move to Los Angeles FC, an MLS side where he can link up with fellow Frenchman Hugo Lloris. The striker has already made a decision; agreeing formal details is what's left.

The transfer will mark the end of the France international's three-year spell at Milan, where he has so far scored 46 goals in 121 appearances.

During his three years at Chelsea, Giroud won the Champions League, the Europa League and the FA Cup. He scored 39 goals and provided 14 assists in 119 matches for the Blues during his time at the Bridge.
