Cole Palmer didn't play for England this international break despite being called up. The attacker picked up a minor injury early in the camp and was not deemed fit by Gareth Southgate.

The 21-year-old has reported back to Chelsea and is fine, according to Mauricio Pochettino.

"Yes, he is a little bit disappointed because he couldn't play or perform with the national team," the Blues head coach said at the press conference.

"He had a small problem for the first game and thought he could play the second game. He is OK and training well. I think the plan is if he trains in the same way, he will be available for the game on Saturday."
