Cole Palmer reacts to penalty incident with Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke involved

"Other players wanted to take it [the penalty kick]. Understandable. The game was 4-0. I'm the penalty taker. I wanted to take it, so I took it. Everyone wants to take responsibility," Cole Palmer has told the media.

"The argument was over the top. We ended up laughing and joking about it but the gaffer has spoken about it now," he added.

The locker-room atmosphere is not ruined after all, it seems.

Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke were ready to fight Cole Palmer for that penalty kick. However, Conor Gallagher intervened and gave the ball to the fautless taker.
