'I kind of had reservations': Simon Jordan admits being wrong about one Chelsea player this season

Simon Jordan has admitted being wrong about Cole Palmer at the start of the season when he joined Chelsea.

The pundit said he had reservations because Pep Guardiola let Palmer leave Man City.

“If you were going tomorrow (to the EUROs), if this weekend you were picking a group of players, Cole Palmer might be one of the first names on the team sheet if you’re Southgate," said Jordan.

"I kind of had reservations about him initially because I thought there’s no way that Guardiola lets him go because he can’t manage the kid’s expectations.

“And then I’ve seen in the last six weeks an acceleration in Cole Palmer.

“I thought he was doing well but in recent performances, he’s gone to a different level.”
