Xavi's stance on Alex Balde after the US tour revealed

Xavi was really impressed with Alex Balde during Barcelona's tour of the United States in July, according to Sport's Ferran Correas.

Barca now plans to keep the youngster as part of the first team for the 2022/23 season.

The Blaugrana are yet to sign an experienced left-back, with paper talk linking Barca with Marcos Alonso and Angelino to Camp Nou.

If Barca cannot sign a left-back, Balde doesn't seem like a bad option to Jordi Alba in that left-back position.

The small challenge is that Balde lacks the experience for big matches.
