'We’ve tracked him for one year’: Barca director Cruyff opens up on interest in Ghana star Kudus

Speaking about Barcelona’s possible interest in signing Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus, Jordi Cruyff said: “We’ve been tracking Mohamed Kudus for more than one year.

“We can’t say now that Barça want Kudus… but he’s attracting interest. He’s scoring goals and in Holland, they discuss a lot about his position, so yes – I know him well.”

Kudus has been a breakout star at the World Cup and scored a brilliant brace in his side’s win over South Korea.

He’s also been in great form for Ajax at the domestic level, having scored 10 goals in 21 appearances for them. The 22-year-old is guaranteed to attract a lot of transfer interest in the winter window and it remains to be seen if Barca can sign him.
