Bentancur's rage reaction to his substitution proves Spurs were not throwing the game vs Man City

Before the Tottenham vs Man City clash there were some speculations that Spurs players won't be trying their best on the football field.

All that was supported by a huge chunk of Spurs fans who actually wanted Postecoglou's side to lose the game. However, one moment spotted by cameras proved that Tottenham players tried to win this match.

Rodrigo Bentancur was very active throughout the game appearing in every corner of the pitch. Perhaps, he was even too aggressive as he got an early yellow card and had to be substituted in the 55 minutes of the match by Dejan Kulusevski.

When the Spurs player got to his seat he showed all the anger and frustration.

The poor seat withstood two powerful kicks from Bentancur. But it didn't finish there.

The next target was the bottle that headed in the unknown direction.

Young George Harrison who sat near Bentancur tried to console his teammate in a heated moment.

With the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City, Spurs lost all their chances to catch up with Aston Villa and let Man City get one step closer to a historic fourth consecutive Premier League title.
