- Jordan Henderson will join an expert panel which will create FA’s new Football Leadership Diversity Code.
- Together with Harry Kane, Troy Deeney, Tyrone Mings, Wes Morgan, Lucy Bronze, Nikita Parris and Leah Williamson they will advise the panel and provide guidance for the new code which will launch in October.
- The goal of the scheme is to accelerate diversity in positions of power within the national game and to make all areas of football, including boardrooms and managerial positions, more representative of the game, something black footballers have been long asking for.
- Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City have already expressed the desire to subscribe to the voluntary code.
