LFC_Wahome: "I like Minamino but I feel he needs to be bulked in muscle as I feel he is to easily pushed off the ball. Could do with a Bayern Munich muscle program there players are ripped."
AnfieldRd96: "Hasn’t had enough chances to impress, especially in his preferred position, however when given the chance to play, just hasn’t taken it."
LFCFansCorner: "Minamino reminds me a lot of Salah when he was bought by Chelsea from Basel after tearing them to shreds in Europe and then immediately expected to perform as well as Willian, Schurrle, Hazard, and Oscar despite a tremendous leap in competition and league standards."
SCLFC: "Feel bad for him because he rarely plays with our full strength squad. I love Divock but he has been absolutely abysmal of late and Taki always seems to play beside him. I think at full strength and slotting Taki into Bobby’s position we’d see the best of him laying it off to Mo and Sadio."
AdministrativeLaugh2: "Only times he’s ever impressed me was against Lincoln in the cup, and I don’t think that counts.
I appreciate he doesn’t start often but even when he does, he doesn’t offer anything. He’s not physically strong on the ball or in 50/50s, and he’s not technically gifted enough to get away with it."
waisonline: "Taki needs a target man who will be there, running into the middle for his through balls and crosses (that's not Origi)."

Adarsh Goenka: "The problem seems with Minamino is it feels like he is too eager on the pitch. He gets into good position but then he is so hyper that he is out of balance or with a wrong body position to control the ball and gives it away.
"Even defensively he is so eager to press that he overcommits and loses out the duel. How many times does he nearly wins the ball. He makes smart movements, just needs to more calm and patient on the pitch."
David Cassar: "Minamino is not strong enough, he is too easily pushed off the ball. EPL is a physical league, and unless he can stand his ground he will be continually pushed aside."
