Since Liverpool signed Virgil van Dijk for a world-record fee (for a defender) of £75M, the centre-back has transformed our defence and has won multiple team and individual titles.
Last summer, Manchester City signed Ruben Dias £61.64 million - while the centre-back has been impressive for the Cityzens as they close in on a couple of titles this season, we won't really compare his impact to what Van Dijk did.
