"He let tackles go without bookings for either team. But when someone is on a booking it gets heightened.
"I think that was his first tackle after the booking, and maybe I'm a wee bit old school in that I don't think every tackle is a booking.
"But of course I'm going to say that! You can maybe see why they are annoyed. But I don't think it was a second booking."
Pep Guardiola was raging during and after the game as Milner's foul on Bernardo Silva didn't result in a sending off for the Liverpool man.
