Origi, Ox & more: 6 players Klopp has used the least so far this season

Liverpool have started the season reasonably well, leading their Champions League group and just 1 point behind first place in the league.

A lot of players have contributed to the results, but some have obviously had less playing time than others.

Youngsters like Ben Woodburn, Kaide Gordon and Kelleher have all had an opportunity here or there, but there are some senior players that have seen diminished game time this season.

Here's a look at the 6 least used players:

Takumi Minamino

With just 1 start and 1 substitute appearance, Minamino has featured for just 115 minutes this season.

The Japanese international has again struggled for game time but will likely be able to play when Mane and Salah leave for AFCON.

Roberto Firmino

The big surprise on this list, Bobby Firmino has only played 153 minutes for the Reds this season.

With Diogo Jota often getting the nod, Firmino has been a sub in 5 games but he's still managed to score thrice already.

Divock Origi

Third on this list is Divock Origi, who is just ahead of Bobby at 158 minutes. The striker has started twice and has 2 assists and a goal to his name.

Although he will likely be moved when a suitable offer arrives, Origi will likely still play the impact sub role till he's at the club.

Ibrahima Konate

Like every other Jurgen Klopp signing, Konate is being eased into the starting XI and not being thrown into the deep end immediately.

2 starts and 2 clean sheets is a decent enough start to his Reds career so far and his playing time should increase as he continues to train and learn.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

The one player who is reportedly frustrated with his playing time is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, he's managed just 184 minutes.

Ox might look to move in January but being beaten out by youngsters like Elliott and Jones is not a good sign for the dynamic midfielder.

Thiago Alcantara

The injury bug never quite lets go of Thiago, who despite 5 appearances, has only managed 197 minutes of playing time.

The midfielder forms a deadly partnership with Fabinho when he plays, so the hope for Klopp will be that his minutes go way up by the time the season ends.
