Minamino - 9
An electrifying performance from Taki with a brace to show for it. Pretty much didn't put a foot wrong the entire game. His ball retention was unmatched and looked to constantly take on defenders. His best performance in a Liverpool shirt.
Henderson - 8
Captain's performance in the midfield. Dominated proceedings in the midfield from the start till his substitution. Looked to play some searching passes and was involved in the build-up for the first goal too.
Milner - 7.5
He played in numerous crosses into the box. Looked to create some dangerous chances but did most of his creative work in the first half. A few questions asked defensively but solid for the most part.
Tsimikas - 7.5
Absolute live wire, was involved in the build-up to both goals. Extremely dangerous from set-pieces. Made many overlapping runs on the flank but was not found by his teammates for most of them.
Konate - 7
Solid performance by the centre-back. Could have kept a clean sheet but got dragged out of position while Gomez couldn't close Rupp down for goal. Resolute at the back and was too strong and fast for the Norwich front-men.
Poor showing for Ox tonight. Had one shot that rattled the post but was pretty much invisible for the most part of the game.
