£21m Everton midfielder Allan completed just TWO passes in 73 minutes against Liverpool

 managed to produce one of the most anti-football performances you will ever see as they resorted to time wasting and tried to rattle Liverpool with fake injuries for the entire game yesterday.

The Toffees completed just 95 passes across the 90 minutes, with Liverpool having 85% possession of the ball.

However, arguably the worst stat of the night was Brazilian midfielder 

 completing not one, not two..wait, that's it. He completed a total of TWO passes against Liverpool in 73 minutes on the field!

The best part? Both of those passes came from kick-off! 

Everton bought him for £21.7m in 2020. The same summer, Liverpool bought 

 for £25m - he completed 120 passes last night (more than Everton's entire team)!

Mind-blowing stat of the year: Thiago completed more passes than entire Everton team

 did not come to Anfield to play football, they came to take away a point after shithousing the entire game.

However, their tactic did not work out as the Reds ended up winning the match 2-0. And one stat sums up Everton's style of play more than anything else.

Thiago completed 98% of his passes, while Everton completed 55% of theirs. 

As another fun fact, their midfielder Allan completed only two passes in 73 minutes - both of them coming from kick-off!

I've never quite read a stat like the Thiago one before and it tells you two things - how bad Everton are and what a great passer Thiago is.
