'We lost rhythm slightly': Klopp explains what he didn't like about Union performance

"It’s a really good start. We lost rhythm slightly and gave too many set-pieces away," Jurgen Klopp said after Liverpool's 2-0 win over Union.

"t was a really good beginning, lost rhythm and then played too much around the formation rather than in the formation.

"Should have had more direction and all these kinds of things, but you take what you can get in these moments and I thought we were really mature and professional but we could have been a lot better in a lot of moments."

Liverpool cruised to a 2-0 victory over the Belgian side, thanks to goals from Ryan Gravenberch and Diogo Jota.
