Liverpool and Everton are set to lock horns in the Merseyside derby this Saturday. The Reds enjoy a 10-point lead over their rivals after just eight games as the Toffees have had a poor start to the season.
Peter Crouch backs Liverpool to defeat Everton, saying that the teams are just too far apart at the moment.
“I've had the privilege to be able to play in those games and the atmosphere is always electric,” the former Reds striker told TNT Sports.
“Being at Anfield, it's going to be a tough ask for Everton. I imagine Liverpool will come out on top.
“The gap between Liverpool and Everton is very big,” he added.
“Even the staunchest Everton fan would admit that. They are at different ends of the spectrum.
“Liverpool had a disappointing season last season and are getting back to their best. You can't see anything other than a Liverpool win.”
