Trent's first goal v Fulham awarded as Leno own goal — Premier League explain decision

Trent netted two goals in Liverpool's 4-3 victory against Fulham at Anfield. The Englishman scored a worldie to break the deadlock and then got the Reds a win with a beautiful strike late into the game.

However, the right-back was denied credit for his first goal. The adjudication panel decided that it should be awarded as a Bernd Leno own goal.

As stated on the Premier League's website, "it's now been credited as a Bernd Leno own goal as the ball came back of the bar and hit the 'keeper before crossing the line."

If you're playing Fantasy Football and have Trent in your team, he'll be given an assist for this strike.

Anyway, all four Reds' goals were absolute screamers and the most important thing is three points.
