Ibrahima Konate reacts to VAR controversy in Union defeat

Liverpool have already suffered this season due to officials' inability to draw offside lines — and it might have happened again.

Union Saint-Gilloise's first goal in their 2-1 win was checked by VAR for offside. The goal stood, but the replays strongly hinted that it could've been the wrong decision.

After the game, Ibrahima Konate, one of the defenders on the pitch for the episode, commented on a social media post with the picture above.

He tweeted: "🤣🤦🏾‍♂️… okok"

In fairness, the result of the game did not matter much, so we probably shouldn't get too worked up about it. Still, the defenders don't like conceding goals, so Konate's reaction is natural.
