'That's why Liverpool are where they are': Carragher makes Arsenal and Man City comparison after Villa draw

Jamie Carragher shared his thoughts on Liverpool's 3-3 draw with Aston Villa.

The Reds were up 3-1 before capitulating late in the game to drop two points to Emery's men.

“What I would say is that wouldn’t happen to Arsenal or Man City," said Carragher post-game.

"And that’s the reason why Liverpool are where they are. They have more control.

“One thing I have noticed about Arsenal is that Mikel Arteta and Arsenal in a situation like that late in the game, they aren’t scared to go direct.

“We sort of think we don’t see it now as much but I see Raya a lot of times now late in the game, they will just go long with it. It’s refreshing actually.”
