Manchester United Foundation donate £1million in fight against coronavirus

The Manchester United Foundation has donated £1million in total to aid the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, reports the Evening Standard.

United have been working relentlessly during these tough times and have been an inspiration to the world.

In addition to providing activity packs for school kids and cooked meals for NHS workers, the foundation has also made donations to the tune of a million pounds.

That's not all - the club have also decided to share £240,000 with its 240 official clubs across the world in an attempt to help local charities in those areas.

Essentially, each of these supporters' clubs would receive £1,000 to help youth-oriented charities deal with the crisis - which is truly a novel move.

Meanwhile, United players have returned to training as clubs prepare to get back to action sometime in June.

Following the aggressive testing carried out ahead of the training, none of the United players or staff tested positive.
