'They're running out of opportunities to close that gap': Keane gives verdict on Man United's top 4 hopes
  • Man United played out a 1-1 draw with Tottenham on Friday.
  • Keane says the Red Devils would be disappointed with the result.
  • Solskjaer's side will finish Matchday 30 at least 2 points behind Chelsea.

Roy Keane has criticised Manchester United for failing to seize the day and put pressure on Chelsea in the race for the top four with a positive result against Tottenham.

Speaking on Sky Sports after the Spurs draw, the Old Trafford legend said: "If you're in the United dressing room, I'd be disappointed.

"They're running out of games, and with Leicester City and Chelsea, they're running out of opportunities to close that gap.

"I think it’s a great opportunity now for Chelsea to make it an even worse result for Manchester United, by winning."

The Red Devils are currently fifth in the table with 48 points from 30 games, 2 points behind Chelsea as both teams look to secure a Champions League finish.

The Blues return to the Premier League this Sunday with an away clash 19th-placed Aston Villa side with an aim of cementing their top-4 place.
