Top-four chances, De Gea's form & more: 5 things to keep in mind ahead of United's game against Sheffield
  • Top-four spot a distant dream?: Before the restart, United were just 3 points behind fourth-placed Chelsea but after our 1-1 draw against Spurs, the gap has increased to 5 points. This is a less-than-ideal situation, with the likes of Wolves and Sheffield United hot on our tracks.
  • De Gea's lack of form: Some of us may still back him, others have had enough. However, it must be acknowledged that the Spaniard's lack of form is a major concern. He will once again face a daunting test against the Blades, with Dean Henderson watching on.
  • Maguire's ideal partner: Pairing the captain with Victor Lindelof led to disastrous results against Spurs and it'll be interesting to see if Ole brings in Eric Bailly against Chris Wilder's side. Although there may not be an immediate solution, the time has come for the boss to make some changes.
  • Lack of attacking intent: Again, United failed to capitalize on the opportunities against Tottenham. Rashford and Martial each had a great chance but nothing really materialized. Ultimately, it was a penalty goal by Bruno Fernandes that saved our skins.
  • Poor combination on the right flank: Suffice to say, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James simply do not gel well together. The former still needs to work on his attacking skills while the latter needs to learn how to deliver a good final ball.
