Dwight Yorke believes that Kalidou Koulibaly would be a ‘perfect fit’ at Man United and help the Red Devils become a side everyone fears once again.
He spoke about Koulibaly’s situation and told Stadium Astro: “Without a doubt I think he’s one that everyone is after and if Manchester United are going to make some big signings like they always do, I would definitely [sign him], if we can afford him then why not?
“I think he is the perfect fit to come into centre-half alongside Maguire, that would be awesome to have him there and suddenly we look a proper team then, with the likes of Pogba and Bruno and one of the holding midfielders and the front three forwards as I mentioned.
“We become a team who suddenly everybody will be fearing.”
The Red Devils are still reportedly interested in signing Koulibaly, but will not pay more than €80m for him. Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis insisted that he’ll only ponder a deal if a club comes up with a €100m offer for the Senegalese defender.
Koulibaly has made 25 appearances for Napoli this season and has been impressive since the season restart.
