Michael Carrick names 2 Man United players doubtful to face Chelsea

"We got two or three little issues," said Michael Carrick while providing team news in the pre-Chelsea press conference.

"It is never ideal. One or two we are waiting on and Luke [Shaw] took a bang on the head a few weeks ago and took a bang against Watford.

"We'll make a call on him."

Carrick, who is the caretaker manager, added: "Fred twisted his ankle, played a big part, we will have to see how that settles down. One or two others."

Harry Maguire will surely miss the game through suspension while Edinson Cavani could be back on the bench this weekend.

Manchester United need a big win to claim all three points and return among the Champions League spots.
