Rangnick 'wants to bring' Timo Werner to United in the summer

Ralf Rangnick wants to discuss the possibility of signing Timo Werner from Chelsea with Man United’s board, claims German outlet BILD.

The German gaffer was responsible for bringing the striker to RB Leipzig from Stuttgart and pushing his career.

Rangnick remains close to Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel, whom he mentored and helped become the top manager he is today.

That being said, there is no affirmation from the United board whether they would want to Chelsea flop at Old Trafford.

Werner was quite abysmal in their game against United, missing some big chances.

The German striker has only scored 15 goals in 64 appearances for Chelsea and struggled to adapt to the Premier League since arriving last year.
