6 core Man United players who should play 3,000+ minutes next season

Manchester United went through one of our worst seasons in 2021/22 but there is reason to believe this term will be different.

Erik ten Hag has helped the current squad improve in pre-season but there is still plenty of work ahead.

Ahead of an important campaign, let's take a look at who could play over 3000 minutes this season - that's equivalent to 33 full games.

The Spaniard remains our No.1 and will play between the sticks for a majority of the games. He played the most last season, clocking over 4500 minutes.

Maguire, who played over 3000 minutes last term, will continue as our captain which means he should make the squad in most games. With a solid partner in Lisandro Martinez, we expect the Englishman to be more consistent.

Having ousted Aaron Wan-Bissaka from the right-back role, Dalot is expected to feature more under Ten Hag. Dalot played 2300 minutes last season and could hit the 3000-mark this time.

It's no surprise that Bruno played 3,700 minutes in our worst-ever term. We fully expect his creativity and fitness to exceed standards even with the arrival of Christian Eriksen.

The Brazilian is the closest we have to a defensive midfielder in the senior team right now. Assuming we end the window without signing a proper No.6, Fred will play most of our games.

And finally, Sancho was one of the best players in pre-season. 2021/22 was far from perfect for him but he still clocked 2400 minutes. With proper pre-season and the right guidance, we expect Sancho to play well over 3000 minutes.
