'We should be able to rotate the team quite a lot': Man United fans react to Europa League draw

Manchester United found their 2022/23 Europa League group stages opponents on Friday after the draw in Turkey.

The Red Devils will face Real Sociedad, Sheriff Tiraspol and Omonoia and the Old Trafford supporters are happy with the outcome.

Fr. Todd Unctious (via RedCafe): Not a bad group, could have been worse. Only pain in the a**e is getting Tiraspol. At least it's not Qarabag I suppose."

diarm: "Give it a few years and 'Point out Man United's 2022/23 Europa League opponents on a map' will be a very decent pub quiz question."

stu_1992: "As others have said, we shouldn't be fearing any team in this competition. On quality alone, we easily beating all three of those teams and should be able to rotate the team quite a lot against two of them. The only issues is we have a load of travel there, and the attitude of our own players. Hoping, although unlikely, we're already through by the time we play those away games."

Lay: "We say it's easy as if we don’t struggle against teams on a regular basis. On paper we should get through. But there’ll be a couple of dull 1–0 wins."

GregM40: "Slightly gutted we didn't draw FC Union, that away trip would have been immense. Should be comfortable in all these games, although Real Sociedad will be the toughest of the lot. Hope to see some minutes given to the likes of Zidane and Savage for these."

largelyworried: "Well at least we have two interesting-ish games to look forward to with Sociedad. The others are just banana skins honestly. Will be happy to get through and see what happens when the Champions League teams drop out."
