Eric Choupo-Moting has rejected a potential move to Manchester United and will instead sign a new deal with Bayern Munich, according to Bild. The Red Devils were said to be interested in the Cameroon international.
Although very unlikely, several reports claimed that United was "seriously considering" him as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo next summer.
But Bild said: "Choupo is happy in Munich and very popular within the team. The club also wants to extend his contract, but the talks have been postponed until winter".
Choupo-Moting has played for both Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich since leaving Stoke in 2018. The Cameroonian has broken into Julian Nagelsmann's side in recent weeks, scoring three and assisting two in the last three league matches.
He also netted there goals in the Champions League so far this season, hitting the target twice in the DFB-Pokal against Augsburg.
