OFFICIAL: David De Gea out of Spain World Cup squad

Spain announced their 26-man squad for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar on Friday afternoon.

As expected, David De Gea was not included on the list after hardly featuring under head coach Luis Enrique.

Atlethic Bilbao's Unai Simon, Brighton's Robert Sanchez and Brentford's David Raya are the three goalkeepers in the squad.

De Gea is Manchester United's first-chose goalkeeper under Erik ten Hag, reestablishing himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.
