De Gea praises two players after Leeds
David De Gea has singled out Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford for praise after Manchester United's 2–0 win away at Leeds in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Spaniard told MUTV: "We knew the first goal was important and it was a perfect cross from Luke. He is playing very well and then Rashy, who is on fire, is scoring lots of goals, helping the team, running, pressing."
Man United interested in 'future Belgium star'
According to the Daily Mail, Premier League duo Man United and Newcastle United are monitoring Royal Antwerp midfielder Arthur Vermeeren.
The 18-year-old, who is tipped to become a 'future Belgium star', could be available for around £20 million in the summer transfer window.
United, Leeds issue joint statement
After the chants about the Munich Air Disaster and Istanbul during our 2-0 win in the Roses derby, United and Leeds issued the following statement: "Both clubs strongly condemn chanting from both sets of fans regarding historic tragedies at today’s game.
"Such behaviour is completely unacceptable and we will continue to work together with our respective fan groups and the Premier League and other authorities on eradicating it from football."
Vidic eyeing presidency post in Serbian FA
As per The Times, Nemanja Vidic is undertaking a course with the UEFA that could help him become the president of the Serbian Football Association.
The United legend doesn't wish to hold an executive or coaching role at any club and he's reportedly eyeing something much bigger.
