FC Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa is rumored to be one of the summer targets for Man United, who might want to sign a new goalkeeper.
After his side’s win in the Taco de Portugal final on Sunday, Costa was asked about his future and links to the Red Devils. He simply responded: “That’s the internet.”
The Portugal no.1 appears to be staying quiet about his future, but sources from Portugal have indicated that he’s bound to play in the Premier League next season and Man United are the frontrunners to sign him.
A major stumbling block, however, is that FC Porto will demand a major fee to sell Costa – something which the Red Devils could flinch at.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper made 41 appearances for Porto last season, keeping 20 clean sheets in 41 appearances.
