Ratcliffe takeover, Manchester derby & more: 4 big things to happen at Man United in upcoming two weeks

The third international break of the 2023/24 season is upon us but there are still plenty of things that could happen at Manchester United in the next two weeks.

Sir Bobby's funeral

The Man United legend, who passed away on October 21, will be laid to rest on Monday at Manchester Cathedral. The Glazers will not be in attendance.

Expected takeover

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is on the verge of acquiring a 25 per cent stake at Man United after months of negotiations and the board is set to vote to approve the takeover.

Hojlund injury update

Rasmus Hojlund, who is still searching for his first Premier League goal, picked up an injury in the 1–0 win against Luton Town at the weekend. Man United will be hoping that the issue is not too serious.

Women's derby

Manchester United Women, who are third in the Women's Super League table with 12 points from six games, will take on sixth-placed Manchester City Women at Old Trafford on Sunday, November 19.

Potential Sancho development

Jadon Sancho remains banned from all first-team activities at Man United and it's been months since we've had an update on the winger's future at Old Trafford.
