Anthony Martial 'unwell' to face Nottingham Forest even after missing action for 3 weeks

During his recent press conference, Erik ten Hag was asked if Anthony Martial would be back against Nottingham Forest.

The underwhelming French striker remains sidelined due to a mysterious illness he's had for three weeks now.

Martial last appeared for the Red Devils on December 9 and he's not featured since then.

The Manchester United boss did not divulge much information as he said: "Yeah, so he's unwell. He's not available."

Despite the illness, Martial was expected to be fit to face Forest for our final game of 2023 this Saturday.

With just one Premier League goal in 2023/24 so far, Martial's future looks increasingly uncertain right now.
